...soon, but not yet

Okay. I have been spreading the word about my impending trip to Honduras. I have also been spreading the word about my lack of enthusiasm for just such a trip. But nonetheless, I've also fairly freely spread the word about my intention to blog about said trip (I've used the term "trip" 3 times, and only just now realized how inaccurate that is. It's a friggin' new life.) and I commit to stand by that intention (how's that for forceful?) If I am to blog, I want to do it well. Doing it well means that context would be great, e.g. starting before I get down to Honduras. Share my feelings a month, a week before I leave. Describe my preparations. Complain about packing. So here I am, after midnight on a work night and with a waning battery, kicking off. Now I really can't let myself down, which means a context-laden post should be right around the corner.
